This Privacy Policy explains how OsteoIQ® (“OsteoIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal and health-related information when you use the OsteoIQ Platform (the “Platform”), including our website, mobile application, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that helps us operate the Platform and deliver services you request:

A. Personal and Account Information:

  • Name, email, contact details, account credentials

B. Health and Biomarker Information:

  • Laboratory results, biomarker data, test inputs, and health metrics you provide
  • Self-reported health and lifestyle data

C. Usage and Technical Information:

  • Device type, browser type, approximate location, analytics on how you interact with the Platform

D. De-identified or Aggregated Data:

  • Information processed so it cannot reasonably be linked to you

We collect this information to deliver, support, and improve the Platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal and health-related data to:

  • Provide the services you request (such as test access, dashboards, and insights)
  • Manage your account and communicate with you about the Platform
  • Enhance and personalize the Platform experience
  • Conduct internal analysis and product improvement
  • Generate de-identified data for research and platform advancement

De-identified data is used to improve features and learn what is working across the platform. After de-identification, such data cannot reasonably be tied back to an identifiable individual. Use of de-identified information for improving the Platform and advancing bone health knowledge is a required part of how OsteoIQ operates.

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal health information.

We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: vendors who help operate the Platform (hosting, analytics, support)
  • Laboratory and Service Partners: third-party labs and authorized providers as needed to deliver your testing services
  • Authorized Third Parties: entities you choose to connect (for example, if you authorize a clinician to view your results)
  • Legal or Regulatory Entities: when required by law or legal process

Third parties receiving your data are contractually obligated to protect it and use it only as permitted.

4. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable laws, you may have rights related to your information, such as:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Ask us to update inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of certain information
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for future processing (note: this may remove Platform access and/or limit Platform features)

5. Security and Data Protection

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, but we apply industry-standard measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process.

6. Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business operations. After that, we delete or de-identify the data in a secure manner.

7. De-identified and Aggregated Data

Information that has been processed so it cannot reasonably identify an individual is considered de-identified. OsteoIQ may use de-identified information for research, analytics, insights, and product enhancement.

8. Links and Third-Party Services

The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services or sites. Those services have their own privacy practices. OsteoIQ does not control and is not responsible for those third parties’ policies or practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated privacy practices.
